We want to recruit social and friendly individuals to work in our communities to help support both our host families and international students during placement.
Local Coordinators are vital to the success of our MyChoice (school year) and short term immersion programs, not only are they front line of our support network, they work hard to identify and assist potential families in the application process, offer advice & guidance to students and provide feedback to Xplore on the success of our students and families experience.
- Act as a neutral party between host family and the student to ensure successful experiences for all
- Identify caring American host families, and prepare them for a positive experience
- Build relationships with school contacts and support student’s success in the school
As an Xplore coordinator, I truly enjoy meeting all of the students and introducing them to their host families, It is so rewarding helping them through their own experiences, seeing them develop the friendships and grow in themselves while they are here. The program is still giving to me and I am grateful for each opportunity.
